Doug Little is a saxophonist, flautist and composer whose distinctive sound blends soulful American jazz and Contemporary Cuban rhythms. A leading figure on the Twin Cities music scene, Little has recorded multiple CDs and performed throughout the United States and Europe. His talents have won him awards and acclaim including grants to study music in Cuba, an artist residency in Paris, and the prestigious McKnight Artist Fellowship.

     He currently leads several bands including
Charanga Tropical, Seven Steps To Havana, Tres Mundos, and the Doug Little Quartet. Since 1996 he has served as director of the summer music education program, The Twin Cities Jazz Workshop
